About The Position

Lead the installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC) systems in multi-family residential new construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate installations. Install furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ventilation systems, refrigerant lines, ductwork, and related HVAC components. Fabricate and install ductwork and fittings as needed. Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system commissioning to verify proper operation. Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate necessary corrections to maintain project quality and timelines. Ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site while following all company safety policies. Complete installation documentation and project paperwork accurately and on time. Coordinate with supervisors, builders, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently. Mentor and support less experienced installers by providing guidance and training on job sites. Other duties as assigned. Duties may vary by location.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience in residential new construction or multi-family construction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation methods, ductwork fabrication, and system start-up procedures.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Comfortable using tablets, laptops, or mobile devices to complete documentation and communicate with the team.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends as project demands require.
