About The Position
Treat PeteDME’s MSK Integrated Care patients remotely from home. The program combines knee and lumbar bracing with physical therapy and remote therapeutic monitoring, delivered through a network of in-home therapists. Remote visits and monitoring are paid per visit and per call. Therapists begin by completing six in-person brace fittings for patients from their own current caseload, gaining familiarity with the devices they will coach patients on. Each fitting is a paid clinical visit covering intake, fitting, and follow-up, at a flat fee agreed in writing before the first patient. PeteDME provides a screening tool to identify candidates among the therapist’s existing patients and handles prescriptions, benefit verification, and paperwork. This is not a sales or referral role; therapists treat patients they already see. After the six fittings, teletherapy referrals from PeteDME begin. The work is performed from home, on the therapist’s schedule, and is paid per visit and per call. The work is additional independent-contractor work that can be done alongside the therapist’s current job. Specialized orthopedic-bracing training and certification are provided at no cost, and AI-generated SOAP notes are supplied.
Requirements
- Hold an active physical therapist or physical therapist assistant license in the state where practicing.
- Currently work in home health or another in-home setting.
- Evaluate patients and provide treatment.
