MSK Teletherapy Physical Therapist / PTA - Kansas
About The Position
PeteDME is seeking licensed physical therapists or physical therapist assistants to treat its MSK Integrated Care patients remotely from home. The program combines knee and lumbar bracing with physical therapy and remote therapeutic monitoring, delivered through a network of in-home therapists. Remote visits and monitoring are paid per visit and per call. Therapists begin by completing six in-person brace fittings for patients from their own current caseload. Each fitting is a paid clinical visit covering intake, fitting, and follow-up, at a flat fee agreed upon in writing before the first patient. PeteDME provides a screening tool to identify candidates among patients the therapist already sees and handles prescriptions, benefit verification, and paperwork. This is not a sales or referral role; therapists treat patients they already see. After completing six fittings, therapists can receive teletherapy referrals from PeteDME and treat those patients from home on their own schedule, with payment per visit and per call. The work is additional independent-contractor work that can be done alongside a current job. PeteDME offers specialized orthopedic bracing training and certification and AI-generated SOAP notes, with no new EMR to learn.
Requirements
- Active physical therapist or physical therapist assistant license in the state where the therapist practices.
- Currently working in home health or another in-home setting.
- Must evaluate and provide treatment.
Responsibilities
- Complete six in-person brace fittings for patients from the therapist’s current caseload, including intake, fitting, and follow-up.
- Evaluate and provide treatment to patients.
- After completing six fittings, provide remote teletherapy and remote therapeutic monitoring to PeteDME patients from home.
- Identify potential candidates among current patients using the provided screening tool.
