About The Position

Treat PeteDME’s MSK Integrated Care patients remotely from home. The program combines knee and lumbar bracing with physical therapy and remote therapeutic monitoring, delivered through a network of in-home therapists. Remote visits and monitoring are paid per visit and per call.

Therapists begin with six paid in-person brace fittings for patients from their existing caseload. Each fitting includes intake, fitting, and follow-up, at a flat fee agreed in writing before the first patient. PeteDME supplies a screening tool to identify candidates and handles prescriptions, benefit verification, and paperwork. This is not a sales or referral role: therapists treat patients they already see.

After completing six fittings, therapists can receive teletherapy patient referrals from PeteDME. This work is performed from home, on the therapist’s schedule, and paid per visit and per call. The role is additional independent-contractor work alongside the therapist’s current job.

Requirements

• Active physical therapist or physical therapist assistant license in the state where the candidate practices.
• Currently working in home health or another in-home setting.
• Evaluates and provides treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person brace fittings, including intake, fitting, and follow-up, for patients from the therapist’s current caseload.
• Provide remote physical therapy and remote therapeutic monitoring to PeteDME patients after completing six fittings.
• Evaluate patients and provide treatment.
• Use the supplied screening tool to identify suitable candidates among current patients.
