MRI Technologist II - Days/Evenings
About The Position
The MRI Technologist II operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for physicians to use in diagnosing and treating pathologies, following radiologist directions and established procedures. The technologist positions patients, administers contrast media injections, and manipulates images to ensure high-quality examinations. The role includes providing attentive customer service, explaining procedures, and giving patients the opportunity to ask questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. This part-time position is based at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, and is scheduled for 20 hours per week. Available hours are Monday through Friday, either 0630–1500 or 1400–2230. The role includes an on-call schedule and rotating weekends and holidays for on-call coverage only.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot software-related problems.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience.
Responsibilities
