MRI Technologist II - Days
About The Position
The MRI Technologist II operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for physicians to use in diagnosing and treating pathologies, following radiologist directions and established procedures. The role positions patients, administers contrast media injections, and manipulates images to ensure high-quality examinations. It also provides attentive customer service, explains procedures, and gives patients the opportunity to ask questions to reduce anxiety and build trust. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating weekends, on-call duties, and holidays for on-call coverage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot software-related problems.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher.
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images according to radiologist directions and established procedures.

- Provide attentive customer service through appropriate communication and awareness of eye contact, facial and body expressions, and tone of voice.
