MRI Technologist II - Evenings
About The Position
The MRI Technologist II operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for physicians to use in diagnosing and treating pathologies, following Radiologist directions and established procedures. The technologist positions patients, administers contrast media injections, and manipulates images to ensure high-quality examinations. The role also involves providing attentive customer service, including explaining procedures and giving patients opportunities to ask questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. This is a full-time position at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, scheduled for 40 hours per week. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with rotating weekends, on-call duties, and holidays on-call only.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Current CPR certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot software-related problems.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience.
Responsibilities
