About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for an MRI Technologist in Lancaster, PA. The role is on-site within a hospital setting and requires experience with Essenza VE11 MRI scanners. The assignment offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with a rotating 3x12 shift pattern, including weekend coverage. The pay range is $2,716 to $2,919 per week.

Requirements

ARRT certification required (MRI)
BLS Certification required
Minimum 13-week travel assignment readiness; rotation includes weekends (Sat/Sun 8:30 am–7:00 pm; Mon/Tue 6:30 am–5:00 pm; start times may vary 6:00 am–7:30 pm)
Experience with Essenza VE11 MRI scanners
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting in Lancaster, PA
Prior MRI technologist experience with comprehensive safety and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations using Essenza VE11 scanners according to department protocols and position patients for optimal imaging.
Ensure patient safety and comfort, screen for contraindications, and apply appropriate safety precautions for MRI procedures.
Adjust imaging parameters, acquire high-quality images, and verify correct labeling and routing of images to the PACS.
Monitor patients during scans, manage claustrophobic or anxious patients, and communicate findings to radiologists as needed.
Maintain equipment readiness, adhere to infection control standards, and document procedures and any protocol deviations.
Collaborate with radiology nursing staff and technologists to maintain workflow efficiency and patient throughput.
