Requirements
- ARRRT or ARMRIT certification; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification
- Philips MRI experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
Nice To Haves
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on Philips systems, adhering to protocol and safety guidelines
- Prepare and position patients, apply immobilization, screen for contraindications, and monitor during scans
- Administer contrast as ordered and monitor for reactions, following safety protocols
- Optimize imaging parameters and sequences to ensure diagnostic image quality; assist radiologists as needed
- Document procedures and patient data in the Epic system; communicate findings to the radiology team
- Maintain MRI equipment and room readiness; report malfunctions and uphold infection control standards
