About The Position
This is a travel Radiology Technologist – MRI Tech assignment in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a start date of 08/31/2026. The role requires on-site presence in a hospital imaging department and involves performing MRI exams using a Siemens Avanto VB19 system.
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program
- Ability to work weekend night shifts and participate in a travel assignment in Lancaster, PA
Nice To Haves
- MRI certification preferred
- 1+ year MRI experience preferred
- Siemens Avanto VB19 experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams using Siemens Avanto VB19 per physician orders and department protocols
- Position patients, select coils, and set up protocols to optimize image quality
- Monitor patient safety before, during, and after MRI procedures; screen for contraindications
- Ensure accuracy of imaging, adjust parameters, and document procedural details
- Administer contrast as indicated and within training/facility policy; observe and report reactions
- Communicate findings and coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff to complete studies on schedule
