About The Position

This is a travel assignment for an MRI Technologist in Lancaster, PA, US. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,751–$2,954 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, five nights a week. The role is in an acute-care imaging setting, utilizing Avanto VB19 MRI scanners for diagnostic imaging. This is a temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

• ARRT certification required (MRI)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Avanto VB19 MRI scanners
• Ability to work 3:30 PM–12:30 AM shift
• Previous MRI experience in a high-volume imaging setting

Nice To Haves

• MRI certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using Avanto VB19 systems, following established protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for MRI safety, obtain informed consent, and apply appropriate coils and sequences.
• Properly position and immobilize patients, ensure comfort, and monitor throughout the scanning procedure.
• Verify image quality, perform basic quality checks, and communicate findings to radiologists per department protocol.
• Maintain MRI equipment and room readiness, conduct routine checks, and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation, protect patient privacy, and adhere to safety, regulatory, and infection control standards.
