About The Position

Paul Davis Restoration of the National Capital Region is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Moving Technician with a positive attitude to join its Contents Department. The role assists with packing, transporting, cleaning, and disposing of items impacted by disasters such as fire, water, and mold. It includes delivering restored goods to homeowners and may involve occasional night and weekend work on an on-call schedule. The position offers extensive training and opportunities for career advancement, including potential growth into management overseeing team members and project success.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to regularly lift 50–75 pounds.
• Available to work 40 or more hours per week.
• Pass a clean criminal background check and drug test.
• Customer-focused, with a strong work ethic and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with moving, packing, or box truck driving.
• Recent high school graduates with a hands-on attitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform contents restoration and structural cleaning.
• Pack and repack household items.
