About The Position

SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities is hiring a Contents Moving Technician for its Chantilly, Virginia location. The locally owned, family-run disaster restoration company serves customers affected by fire and water disasters and describes its environment as close-knit, team-oriented, and focused on helping people. The technician loads and unloads contents into vehicles, secures contents during transport, and helps organize the warehouse. The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for extended periods. Compensation is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be detail-oriented and attentive to customer satisfaction.
• Be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Be able to stand on feet for extended periods.
• Have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to use an iPad or laptop.
• Have strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload contents into a vehicle.
• Ensure contents are secured during transport.
• Assist with warehouse organization.
