About The Position

SERVPRO is hiring a Restoration Technician for its Chantilly office. The role supports restoration projects by preparing work areas, setting up staging areas and equipment, carrying out production processes as directed, coordinating with management and other technicians, and cleaning and organizing jobsites at the end of the day or project. The position contributes to the company’s goal of helping customers recover from fire and water damage and restoring properties to their prior condition. The advertised compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Responsibilities

Prepare rooms and areas for work activities.
Set up a staging area and equipment for each project.
Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
Perform production processes as directed.
Complete end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
Leave the jobsite clean and orderly.
