About The Position
SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities is a locally owned, family-run disaster restoration company that helps people through fire and water disasters. The company is expanding in the Chesapeake, Newport News, and Arlington area and is seeking a Contents Moving Technician for its Chantilly, Virginia location. The role supports the company's goal of helping make fire and water damage “Like it never even happened.” It involves loading, unloading, and securing contents for transport, as well as assisting with warehouse organization. The position suits a dependable, self-motivated hard worker with a strong work ethic who strives to exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Be detail-oriented, with strong attention to customer satisfaction.
- Be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods.
- Have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to use an iPad or laptop.
- Have strong verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload contents into a vehicle.
- Ensure contents are secured during transport.
- Assist with warehouse organization.
