Surge Merchandiser - CHANTILLY, VA
About The Position
As a Surge Merchandiser at Anderson Merchandisers, you support retail clients by ensuring products are stocked, displayed properly, and available for purchase. You work with store teams and travel to different retail locations to complete merchandising tasks during peak periods, special projects, or urgent needs. You must have access to your own mobile device for work purposes to access assignments and communicate with the team. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment, completing assigned store visits and projects on time, and reporting results through the company’s mobile app. You may travel between multiple store locations within a designated area or region. The job description notes that duties and responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable access to a personal smartphone with a data plan for work-related tasks.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various store locations within a designated region.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Conversational proficiency in English, spoken and written, sufficient to communicate with customers and/or coworkers in real time.

Responsibilities
- Stock, organize, and display merchandise in assigned retail stores according to company and client guidelines.
- Communicate with store personnel and supervisors to ensure displays are in prime condition.
- Complete store visits and projects on time and report results using the company’s mobile app.
- Assist with the setup and execution of promotional and seasonal displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Anderson Merchandisers professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or display issues with store management.
- Travel to multiple store locations as assigned within a specific area or region.
