About The Position
SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities is seeking a motivated, reliable, and personable full-time Warehouse Helper in Chantilly, Virginia. The locally owned, family-run disaster restoration company describes a close-knit, team-oriented environment and opportunities for employee development and advancement. The role includes cleaning and maintaining warehouse and office areas, delivering equipment and supplies to job sites, restocking janitorial supplies, carrying out basic building maintenance, and assisting with groundskeeping as needed. Requirements
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Good working knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with fellow workers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean warehouse and office areas, including mopping floors, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash cans regularly.
- Carry out additional cleaning duties as instructed by management.
- Deliver equipment, supplies, and other items to job sites.
- Restock breakrooms and restrooms with janitorial supplies.
- Undertake basic maintenance tasks related to building operating systems.
- Perform groundskeeping activities as needed, such as snow clearing, lawn mowing, leaf raking, and general grounds maintenance.
- Use safe work practices and proper personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
