About The Position

The Moving Consultant is an outside sales professional responsible for representing Coleman Worldwide and generating bookings for its moving and storage services. The role involves building awareness of the Coleman Worldwide name, generating business through networking, and using company-provided sales leads to increase branch revenue. The position works in office and indoor/outdoor environments and involves frequent telephone and car use, as well as extended periods of sitting and driving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer software knowledge.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate an iPad, laptop, and desktop computer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Work experience in the moving industry, real estate, or outside sales; helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person surveys of customers’ homes or offices and analyze customer needs for scheduled appointments.
• Prepare estimates and close business on assigned leads.
• Prospect for new customers.
• Follow up with pending customers and attempt to close sales.
