Concession duties include operating the point-of-sale system, accurately handling payments and coupons, monitoring concession inventory, promoting the Regal Crown Club, preparing and cleaning concession equipment, and suggesting additional purchases. Team members must comply with food-safety laws and applicable break and meal-period laws. Where alcohol is sold and assigned duties include selling or serving it, team members must meet legal age requirements and maintain required certifications and training. Team members must read and understand training materials covering topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination. Usher duties include tearing and collecting ticket stubs, directing patrons, inspecting bags when applicable, managing crowds and helping guests find seats, enforcing the MPAA rating system, inspecting auditoriums for picture and sound quality and content theft, and helping maintain a safe environment. Ushers report problems or unusual situations to management, may perform auxiliary in-auditorium concession sales, clean auditoriums and other theatre areas, monitor vending equipment, and assist with opening and closing duties. The position pays $15 per hour. Team members may enjoy free movie passes and discounted concessions at Regal locations.
