About The Position
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Motor Grader Operator for a construction project in the DFW area. The equipment operator operates heavy equipment for earthwork projects, including grading to specified elevations and tolerances. Work hours may be adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends. The role may involve working in adverse weather and hot or cold temperatures.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
- Diligence in demonstrating safe work practices.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; Austin Bridge & Road cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Grade to specified elevations and tolerances.
- Become proficient on a machine before advancing to another machine.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Adjust work hours to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Work in adverse weather conditions and hot or cold temperatures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
