About The Position
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a General Laborer to support construction projects in Gainesville, Texas. The laborer will support the project and crew by completing a variety of construction and jobsite tasks. Work hours may be adjusted to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends. The position requires working in adverse weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
- Diligence in demonstrating safe work practices.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; Austin Bridge & Road cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions.
- Provide support to skilled trades.
- Perform hand digging and trenching.
- Pour concrete.
- Place asphalt.
- Set forms.
- Provide traffic control.
- Place erosion control devices.
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
