About The Position

Midwest BankCentre is seeking a Mortgage Lender to generate mortgage applications and deliver an above-expectations customer experience. The role builds relationships with a personal network of clients and realtors and develops referrals from bank employees. Customer service is provided at a branch or another location preferred by the client, with an emphasis on meeting the client’s stated terms and convenience. Mortgage Lenders interact frequently with employees at all levels, including the CEO.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in the financial services or mortgage industry.
• Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong sales capabilities in person and by phone.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage positively with people one-on-one and in groups, at different organizational levels.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Ability to think and act independently and to work individually or as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize duties, work under time constraints, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible as priorities and assignments change.
• Auditory ability to use a telephone.
• Visual acuity sufficient to accurately review and proof information.
• Physical mobility and dexterity to transport files and operate general office equipment.
