About The Position
Model Bartenders work under the direction of the Beverage Manager, entertaining guests while expertly preparing their preferred beverages. The role requires outstanding guest service and a fun, energetic, can-do attitude, including maintaining a positive attitude throughout each shift. Model Bartenders perform routines for guests and large crowds, prepare and serve drinks, handle orders through the POS system, and maintain a clean bar and designated areas. They must follow responsible alcohol service standards and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
- Ability to understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain required work cards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in extreme temperature changes, hot and cold, inside and outside.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Bartender or Apprentice Bartender.
Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and promote the Company Service Standards at all times.
- Perform routines in front of guests and large crowds during peak times and upon request.
- Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
- Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to guests properly and promptly.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system while socializing with guests.
- Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary.
- Make suggestions to guests and answer questions about available drinks and prices.
- Work quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
- Complete property academy as assigned.
