About The Position

The Bartender provides wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and cocktail servers at assigned stations. The role involves mixing drinks according to prescribed recipes, keeping the station stocked, and maintaining the cleanliness of the designated area. The Bartender also provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service; ices and fills non-alcoholic drinks for servers; and opens and closes the bar according to established procedures.

The position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial controls, including balancing a cash drawer and handling credit charges and servers’ food transactions, including tips. The Bartender must maintain strict confidentiality in company matters and follow departmental and property policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency and literacy in English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to follow departmental and property policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain high energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Ability to divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to maintain poise when receiving multiple guest requests.
• Cash handling experience.
