About The Position

The Dancing Bartender performs dances on an assigned daily schedule while providing strong guest service. The role calls for a fun, energetic, can-do attitude, frequent guest interaction, and the ability to multitask. The bartender prepares and serves drinks, processes orders, maintains the bar and designated areas, and follows responsible alcohol service standards. The position also requires following the dance schedule and responding promptly to emergencies and incidents in designated areas.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively in writing and verbally with guests, team members, and management.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature changes, both cold and hot, inside and outside.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a bartender or apprentice bartender.
• Some dance experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards at all times.
• Perform assigned routines and individual dances in front of guests and large crowds.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks properly and promptly.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off an intoxicated guest when necessary.
• Make suggestions to guests and answer questions about available drinks and their cost.
• Work quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
• Adhere to the provided dance schedule.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents in designated areas according to policy.
• Comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
