About The Position

Model Bartenders work under the direction of the Beverage Manager and entertain guests while expertly preparing their preferred beverages. The role requires outstanding guest service and a fun, energetic, can-do attitude, with a consistently positive attitude throughout each shift. Model Bartenders perform routines for guests and large crowds, prepare and serve drinks, process orders, and maintain a clean bar and designated areas while following responsible alcohol service standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and Management in written and verbal form.
• Ability to understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Availability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Team Members and guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Complete property academy as assigned.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature changes, both hot and cold, indoors and outdoors.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Bartender or Apprentice Bartender is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards at all times.
• Perform routines in front of guests and large crowds during peak times and upon request.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Properly and promptly prepare, garnish, and serve drinks.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary.
• Make suggestions to guests and know available drinks and their costs.
• Answer guests' questions and work quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
