About The Position

The Cocktail Server walks the casino floor and/or assigned area to ensure beverage service is provided to guests in a timely manner. The role supports company service standards, collaborates with beverage and casino team members, follows responsible alcohol service practices, and maintains the assigned service area.

Requirements

• Read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Available to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to kneel, carry, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote Company Service Standards at all times.
• Work effectively with beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, the beverage supervisor, and the slots supervisor.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or refusing service to an intoxicated guest when necessary.
• Round on every guest and write down each guest's drink order.
• Walk the assigned section and clear empty cups from the designated area, pit tables, and around slot machines.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
• Complete property academy as assigned.
