About The Position

Join MGM Springfield’s team as a Casino Cocktail Server, creating memorable guest experiences through a welcoming attitude and attentive hospitality. Engage with guests to understand their needs and provide service that helps them feel valued. The starting rate is $9.50 per hour plus tips; estimated annual tips are $0–$9,000. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage, and overtime is paid in accordance with state requirements. The role may work swing shifts beginning between 3:45 PM and 7:00 PM or grave shifts beginning between 11:45 PM and 8:30 AM.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Highly motivated and energetic personality.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the assigned work area, as applicable.
• Place cocktail orders, garnish cocktails, and serve them to guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and available non-alcoholic selections.
• Learn hotel services and features, local attractions, and activities to respond accurately to guest inquiries.
• Perform opening and closing duties according to shift assignment, including preparing cocktail napkins, swizzle sticks, straws, matches, cocktail trays, glassware, and supply cabinets; inspect assigned stations and service areas for cleanliness and condition and correct deficiencies.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer them to management. Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
