About The Position

The Food Server is responsible for taking and delivering customer orders, maintaining tables and guest satisfaction, and finalizing checks. The role also performs side work and general cleaning of assigned stations. Servers greet guests, provide knowledgeable service for menu items and beverages, maintain clean tables and assigned areas, accurately itemize bills and process payments, anticipate guest needs, and coordinate with management and culinary staff to address guest requests.

Requirements

• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Must have flexibility to work on Tuesdays for events.
• Prior food and beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience is preferred; the posting specifies 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Demonstrate knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for all menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and assigned areas using a silent service approach.
• Itemize bills accurately and efficiently secure payment.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to address guest requests and needs.
• Perform side work and general cleaning of assigned stations.
