Main Bar Cocktail Server
About The Position
Cherokee Town & Country Club is seeking a Main Bar Cocktail Server for its newly renovated entertainment space at the Town Club in Buckhead. The role offers consistent, non-tipped pay of $19.00 per hour and is scheduled primarily Tuesday through Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off. The Main Bar closes at 11:00 p.m. Working with the Lead Mixologist and bar team, the server provides personalized hospitality to members and guests while developing beverage and mixology knowledge. The position offers hands-on exposure to classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine service, fresh ingredients, garnishes, syrups, and elevated presentation. The club describes its workplace as supportive and high-quality, with opportunities to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Previous serving, bartending, or beverage experience in a restaurant, bar, club, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and classic cocktails.
- Friendly, confident, and professional presence.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with members and guests.
- Ability to remain composed, organized, and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and desire to continue developing beverage and mixology knowledge.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods, bend, climb stairs, and lift or carry approximately 25–50 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Take food and beverage orders and make recommendations based on member preferences.
- Develop knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and classic cocktails.
- Assist with preparing and serving cocktails using proper techniques, glassware, garnishes, and presentation.
- Provide proper wine and beverage service in accordance with Cherokee's hospitality standards.
- Learn menus, daily specials, wine selections, and featured beverages.
- Work collaboratively with bar and service teams to maintain smooth, responsive service during high-volume periods.
- Bring energy, personality, professionalism, and attention to detail to guest interactions.
- Help create memorable experiences and genuine connections for members and their guests.
