About The Position

The Dancing Bartender works in the Beverage department, performing dances on an assigned daily schedule while providing strong guest service. The role calls for a fun, energetic, can-do attitude, frequent guest interaction, and the ability to multitask. The bartender prepares, garnishes, and serves drinks, processes orders through the POS system, and maintains the bar and designated areas. The position also involves following responsible alcohol service standards and adhering to the dance schedule.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Bartender or Apprentice Bartender is preferred.
• Some dance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards at all times.
• Perform routines and individual dances in front of guests and large crowds as assigned.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to guests properly and promptly.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while socializing with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off an intoxicated guest when necessary.
• Make suggestions to guests.
• Know available drinks and their costs, answer guest questions, and work quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and designated areas.
• Adhere to the provided dance schedule.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
