About The Position
NIVA Health is hiring a compassionate, motivated Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse for its Mobile Wound Care Division. The Mobile Wound Care Nurse delivers advanced wound care directly in patients’ homes, helping them heal, regain independence, and improve their quality of life. This is a full-time, field-based role with local travel to patients’ homes. NIVA Health offers training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
- Passion for wound care and patient-focused healthcare.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced wound care therapies, including low-frequency, non-contact ultrasound (MIST).
- Travel locally to patients’ homes while following safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support excellent patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on wound care and recovery.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional advancement.
