About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The position serves Norfolk County, Massachusetts, including Attleboro, Mansfield, Taunton, North Attleboro, and the Norton area. Veterinarians practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with onboarding, mentorship, experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. Two-day-per-week opportunities have a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits; compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in a mobile setting.
• Attend an average of three to four appointments per day.
