About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Colorado Springs, Colorado, including Peyton, Monument, Fountain, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, with an emphasis on meaningful, unhurried appointments and supporting families during an important time. The position offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while receiving onboarding, mentorship, leadership access, and support from the company’s 24/7/365 Support Center. For a two-day-per-week schedule, the guaranteed annual base salary is $45,000, with bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Additional benefits are available to full-time team members.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in mobile, in-home appointments.
Conduct an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day.
Serve clients in Colorado Springs, Peyton, Monument, Fountain, and surrounding areas.
