About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian serving Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendale, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Torrance, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules, typically two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The employer is veterinarian-founded and owned and describes a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $75,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
