About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring an in-home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Orlando, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Lake Hart, Kissimmee, Oviedo, Florida, and surrounding areas. This veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with an emphasis on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and compassionate care. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, ongoing training, practice-manager support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
