Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Worcester, Auburn, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Holden, Grafton, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. In this veterinarian-founded and owned organization, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible scheduling and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The organization provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time compensation details are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Attend an average of three to four appointments per day.
