About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving North Dallas, Texas, including Coppell, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Frisco, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Part-time opportunities are available for a two-day-per-week schedule with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned and offers onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The veterinarian practices independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Travel to appointments in North Dallas and surrounding communities.
