Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Indianapolis, Indiana, including Greenwood, Zionsville, Carmel, Fishers, Avon, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. The position includes onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation for three-, four-, and five-day schedules is available upon request. The role requires some weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Candidates are subject to background and motor vehicle record checks after hire and before their associated start date.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Pass a post-hire background check and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
