About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Daytona Beach, Florida, including Palm Coast, Ormond Beach, DeLand, Port Orange, Deltona, and surrounding areas. The role provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The typical day includes an average of three to four unhurried appointments. Flexible schedules are available for two to five days per week. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
Conduct mobile appointments in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas.
Work independently while collaborating with and receiving support from experienced leaders and practice managers.
