About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Pittsburgh, Bethel Park, Fox Chapel, Wexford, Bradford Woods, Glenshaw, Irwin, Coraopolis, Washington, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, and time to focus on families rather than paperwork. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in clients’ homes.
Attend an average of three to four appointments per day.
