Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Daytona Beach, Florida, including Palm Coast, Ormond Beach, DeLand, Port Orange, Deltona, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day and time for unhurried visits. Veterinarians receive comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center while practicing independently. Two-day-per-week opportunities have a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation for three-, four-, and five-day schedules is available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
