About The Position
Bark & Mane of Northwest San Antonio is seeking experienced Mobile Pet Groomers for full-time or part-time positions. We are a growing local business, formerly Aussie Pet Mobile, now rebranded nationally. We operate state-of-the-art Mercedes Sprinter vans, providing a 100% cage-free, one-on-one grooming experience. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional pet grooming experience (salon or mobile).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience handling cats in a professional salon or veterinary setting.
- Must provide a portfolio of recent dog and cat grooms, highlighting specialties.
- Possess mental focus, time-management skills, and emotional resilience for independent work.
- Physically capable of safely lifting heavy dogs.
- Must have reliable transportation to the dispatch hub in Northwest San Antonio.
- Clean, valid Texas driver’s license.
- Comfortable operating a premium mobile spa van.
Nice To Haves
- Specialties with certain breeds (e.g., hand-stripping, doodle coat management, breed-standard cuts, or advanced feline styles).
- Strong cat grooming skills are a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional pet grooming services for dogs and cats in a mobile van setting.
- Provide a serene, one-on-one grooming experience, prioritizing pet comfort and safety.
- Conclude each appointment with a Well-Being Wrap Up™ report for pet parents.
- Maintain efficient workspace and a steady, productive daily pace.
- Ensure proper and safe operation of the mobile grooming van.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding schedule adjustments.
- Collaborate with the scheduling concierge team.
- Handle solo workspace dynamics and interact positively with clients.
- Safely lift heavy dogs when required.
- Operate a premium mobile spa van.
