About The Position

The Canine Country Club and Wellness Center in Dallas, Texas is hiring an experienced Pet Groomer to join its supportive team. The role involves providing professional grooming services for dogs of all breeds, following owners’ instructions, accommodating special requests, and delivering attentive customer service. The groomer will help build lasting client relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. The schedule is 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
• Comfort working with all dog breeds in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, upbeat, hard-working, and detail-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

• Grooming school or apprenticeship experience.
• A strong grooming portfolio showcasing skills and creativity.
• Enjoyment of grooming challenges and meeting new clients.
• Social media skills for showcasing grooming styles and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trims, and styling.
• Ensure pets are neat, clean, and looking their best.
• Follow pet owners’ grooming instructions and accommodate special requests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
• Treat all animals with care, patience, and compassion.
• Contribute to team success, including being willing to teach others.
