About The Position

Dessert Holdings is seeking a dependable Mixer Operator for its cake and cheesecake manufacturing team in Le Center, Minnesota. The position measures and mixes ingredients to produce batters, fillings, and icings while meeting production, quality, and food safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The role involves operating mixers, scales, and other production equipment, following recipes and production instructions, and completing production records. The operator maintains a clean and sanitary work area, reports equipment issues to supervisors, and works efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The facility produces cakes and cheesecakes and includes exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Physical demands include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds or more and standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing or bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Flexible to work overtime or additional hours as needed.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
