About The Position

Litehouse is hiring a Mixer I at its Lowell facility. The Mixer is essential to the performance of the company’s spice, prep, and testing mix systems. The role involves producing detailed recipes in food manufacturing while following food safety and allergen protocols. Training is provided for advanced batch automation computer systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
0–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technology.
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-minded attitude.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce detailed recipes.
Operate batch automation computer systems.
Change over and wash out machinery between batches while following allergen protocols.
Keep the workspace and production area clean and organized.
Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accurate records and follow FIFO practices.
Requisition ingredients and supplies and maintain timely, accurate production records.
Follow food safety policies and report concerns to a supervisor.
Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends.
