About The Position

INX International is seeking a Mill Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the right candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role includes operating and maintaining mill equipment, packaging finished ink, supporting quality control, completing maintenance, and assisting with repacks. The operator will also learn and apply TPM practices in daily work.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 3 months of related work experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; training is available.
Background in the mixing, mill, and pump filter industry.
Previous experience in the ink industry.

Responsibilities

Run ink batches at the proper mill settings.
Package finished product in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
Operate and maintain the Hockmeyer mill to meet optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
Perform canning.
Operate the press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a QC liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and use troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with repacks.
Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams.
