About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is a member of the Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team and performs front-line processes that support successful delivery of final products. The role includes coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. The operator uses a forklift daily and other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This position is part of the Omnium business, which manufactures crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products. The stated shift is 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at $22.25 per hour. Current employees who meet the established qualifications for Intermediate Warehouse Operator may be eligible for placement at that level and its corresponding pay rate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and respectful conduct.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas where dust and chemicals are present.
• Successful forklift certification required.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of warehousing work experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders by selecting the correct products from racks, palletizing and shrink-wrapping them, and staging orders for delivery.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Obtain successful forklift certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
