About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s warehousing team and performs front-line processes to support successful delivery of final products. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. The operator uses a forklift daily and other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This position is part of the Omnium business, a partner in manufacturing crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas where dust and chemicals are present.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of warehousing work experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices from self and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Process work orders by selecting the correct products from racks, palletizing and shrink-wrapping them, and staging orders for delivery.
• Manage multiple tasks and keep up with warehouse demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Obtain and maintain successful forklift certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
