Processing Operator - 1st Shift

About The Position

Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Processing Operator to produce high-quality liquid product batches and ensure batching equipment is sanitized and maintained in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The role processes a variety of liquid product batches and maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of batching equipment. The scheduled shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position also involves maintaining raw material inventory, unloading bulk materials as required, operating processing and material-handling systems, and documenting production work in accordance with batch records and applicable procedures. The work takes place in a clean, air-conditioned cGMP environment.

Requirements

High school degree; Chemistry courses are preferred, or equivalent qualification.
At least two years of related experience.
Must be able to lift quantities up to 75 pounds and handle or position quantities up to 450 pounds.
The position requires substantial walking and use of ladders.

Responsibilities

Process and document all production-required batches in strict adherence to batch records, SOPs, and GMPs.
Perform in-process testing as required.
Maintain raw material inventory, location, and lot control physically and in computer systems.
Unload bulk materials as required.
Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces in accordance with SOPs and GMPs.
Maintain and operate the department’s purified water, material-handling, and processing systems safely and efficiently.
Provide technical guidance and training to personnel as required.
Perform other duties that facilitate processing operations, documentation, and compliance, as well as other related duties.
